Ingredients of Coconut Rava Cake

  1. You need 1/2 cup of Madia.
  2. Make ready 3/4 cup of Rava.
  3. Make ready 3/4 cup of Coconut Dry.
  4. Take 1 cup of Sugar (I used 1/4 cup dememara sugar+ 3/4 cup normal ).
  5. It’s 1/2 cup of butter.
  6. Make ready 3/4 tbspn of baking powder.
  7. Make ready 1/2 tsp of baking soda.
  8. Make ready pinch of salt.
  9. Make ready 2 of eggs.
  10. Take 1 or 1 1/2 cups of milk.
  11. You need 2 of Cardamom Green (elachi).
  12. Take 1 - 2 of Honey tbspns.
  13. It’s drops of vanilla essence few   (optional).

Coconut Rava Cake step by step

  1. Dry Ingredients : Roast Rava for 2-3 mints,transfer it into a bowl.Then roast dry coconut for 1/2-1  mints and add it to rava and mix.Now sieve Madia,baking powder & soda,salt and add it to rava coconut mixture,keep aside..
  2. Wet Ingredients : Now take bowl/blender/mixer jar.I used a mixer to blend because i wanted to make the cake before my mother could come from work and few mintues were remaining.Add sugar and cardamom to mixer jar,powder it.Now add butter and blend it till both gets mixed evenly.Then add eggs and blend till little creamy,Then add vanilla essense and milk and again blend..
  3. Now mix the dry and wet ingredients together,transfer it into mould greased with butter and dusted with flour or else place butter paper and bake it,i made it in pressure cooker..
  4. For cooking  in pressure cooker,remove the whistle. Now switch on the stove and preheat the cooker(with lid) for 5 mints in low flame.Till then take cake mould or u get two utensils along with it use 1 of it, then place the butter paper in it add cake mix and pat.After 5 mints place an utensil or cup inverted at the center of cooker now place the cake tin and close it.Cook for 5 mints in high- medium flame then cook for 25-30 mints in slow flame.Insert tooth-pick and check it,if sticky cook….
  5. The cake was simplyyyyy Awsomeeee and delicious and sooo very Aromatic, my mom likes coconut cake very much so i just gave it a try and it was best!!.
  6. Notes: You can use 1cup of butter if you are not calorie contious. You can even replace butter with coconut oil if u love coconut.U can use fresh coconut too but u need to roast it more.Do not Roast dry coconut too much else it will get burned.Same way do not roast rava also for more time.You can use coconut milk instead of plain milk.You can add more milk if consistency is too thick..
