Ingredients of Bacon-wrapped Malanga
- It’s 1 large of Malanga (or Yautia).
- Make ready 1 dozen of Bacon Slices.
- Make ready 1 of Boiling Salted Water.
Bacon-wrapped Malanga instructions
- Peel the root vegetable and rinse thoroughly. (Be careful, the skin is tough and kinda "hairy").
- Cut into 12 bite size pieces (not too small) and add to boiling salted water..
- Pre-heat oven to 375°F..
- Once easily pierced with a fork or sharp knife, they're ready..
- Wrap each piece with a slice of bacon and evenly set on a non-stick oven dish..
- Cook in oven for 30-45 minutes or until bacon is fully cooked..
