- It’s 1 kg of chicken.
- It’s 1/2 kg of rice.
- Make ready 1/2 cup of ghee.
- It’s 2 tsp of fennel seeds (sonf).
- Make ready 1/2 of tspn corriander seeds.
- It’s 1 of medium onion for yakhni.
- Take 1 cup of fried onion on dum.
- Make ready to taste of Salt.
- Prepare 3/4 of Green chilli.
- You need of Ginger 1 small.
- It’s 4 of Star anise.
- Take 6 cup of water.
- It’s 1 of bay leaf teez patta.
- You need of Cardamoms.
- You need of Clove.
- It’s stick of Cinnamon.
- It’s of Whole black pepper.
- It’s of Cumin seeds.
Panjabi Yahkni Pulao #CookpadApp step by step
- Put all together with chicken and cook for 30 minutes until chicken get tender.
- Now add soaked rice in it and mix it and cook it till the rice are 3/4 cooked and water is dried.Add fried onion.
- Now take out chicken from yakhni and strain the yakhni.Keep aside.
- Heat ghee in pot and add black cumin and cook chicken and fry..
- Now add ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste, and bhunofy..
- Now add yoghurt fennel powder, black pepper, salt, plums and bhunofy.
- Add prepared yakhni according to rice. Bring it to boil.
- Now put a lid on it and put it on dum for 10 - 15 minutes. You may serve now.
