  1. You need 1/2 cup of cooking oil.
  2. You need 2 of medium onion sliced.
  3. Make ready 1/2 kg of chicken.
  4. Prepare 1/2 kg of rice.
  5. Prepare 4-5 of bri elaichi.
  6. You need 5-6 of green elaichi.
  7. Take 6-7 of garlic cloves.
  8. Prepare 1 inch of ginger piece.
  9. It’s 2 tbs of saunf.
  10. Make ready to taste of Salt.
  11. Make ready 1-2 tsp of cooking oil.
  12. You need of Water as required.
  13. Make ready 1-2 tbs of cooking oil.
  14. Take 8-10 of kaju.
  15. Prepare 8-10 of almond.

  1. In a pot,add cooking oil and onion and fry until golden brown.. add chicken and mix well until changes colour….
  2. Add black green elaichi, garlic, ginger, saunf,salt and mix well.. ab is ma pani add kar dein… 1/2 kg rice ke hisab se jitna b ap add krty (sb ke rice ka hisab different hota hai) achi trh mix karein and bring it to boil..cover and cook on medium low flame for 20 -25 minutes….
  3. When chicken is tender, take out chicken pieces and strain stock and set aside….
  4. In a wok add cooking oil,chicken and mix well…now add prepared stock and cook for 1 minute… now add rice and bring it to boil and cook on high flame until water is reduced…. (now at this time u can add more water if needed)…cover and steam cook for 6-8 minutes….
  5. In a frying pan add oil and add almond kaju pistachio kishmish and fry for 2 minutes…now add fried nuts and chilli on the rice,cover and steam cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes….
  6. Kashmiri chicken pulao is ready….
