Ingredients of Murgh Musallam

  1. It’s 1 kg of chicken.
  2. Take 2 of eggs - boiled.
  3. Make ready 1/2 cup of minced chicken.
  4. Take 2 of tomato.
  5. It’s as required of Oil.
  6. Make ready As needed of Mava.
  7. Take of For chicken marinade.
  8. Make ready 1 cup of curd.
  9. Take as required of Salt + vinegar.
  10. Take as required of Kesar dissolved in hot water and kevda.
  11. Take as per taste of Red chilli powder +.
  12. You need as required of Dhaniya powder +.
  13. Prepare 1 tbsp of jeera powder +.
  14. Take of For chicken filling.
  15. Take 1 of Onion chopped and boiled.
  16. It’s 1 of small onion chopped.
  17. Make ready 1 cup of chicken minced.
  18. Take 1 of tomato paste.
  19. Make ready 2-3 of green chilli chopped.
  20. Take as required of Coriander chopped.
  21. Make ready 1/2 tsp of Garam masala.
  22. Take 1 tsp of jeera powder.
  23. Prepare 1 tsp of dhaniya powder.
  24. Take 1 tbsp of each – kaju + badam.
  25. Prepare 1 tsp of khaskhas.
  26. Take 2-3 of chopped kaju + badam.
  27. You need of For musallam gravy.
  28. It’s As required of Tandoori masala.
  29. You need 1 of onion.
  30. You need 2 of tomatoes.
  31. It’s 10 of kaju + badam each.
  32. Make ready 1 tsp of Khaskhas.
  33. It’s As needed- of Green chilli chopped or paste.
  34. Prepare 1 cup of curd.
  35. Prepare 1/2 cup of fresh cream.
  36. You need 1 tbsp of Red chilli powder.
  37. It’s 1 tbsp of dhaniya powder.
  38. Take 1 tbsp of zeera powder.
  39. Prepare 3/4 tbsp of garam masala.
  40. Take as required of Chopped coriander.

Murgh Musallam instructions

  1. Clean and wash the chicken, make slits on the chicken and marinate it in salt + vinegar mix.
  2. Make the kesar and kevda mix and apply it on the chicken for colour and essence. Keep it aside for 10 mins..
  3. Prepare the chicken marinade mixture and marinate the chicken, keep it for few hours or overnight.
  4. Preparing the filling - make paste of kaju, badam, khaskhas and boiled onion..
  5. Heat oil and add chopped onion, when translucent add ginger garlic paste, chopped green chilli, red chilli powder and all the powder masala saute for a while and add boiled eggs, saute the eggs for a while and remove it. Now add minced chicken + tomato paste + kaju,badam,khus khus paste and cook it very well add salt to taste. And the chicken filling is ready.

  7. Now stuff the marinated chicken with chicken filling eggs and mava and stitch it properly so that the mixture doesnt come out..

  10. Heat 5 tbspn oil in a pan and at medium flame cook the musallam chicken on all sides..
  11. For the gravy -.
  12. Heat oil- add onion + ginger garlic paste, saute it for a while than add all the dry masala powders + tomato paste. Saute it well..
  13. Now add kaju+badam+kk paste to it, cook it for few minutes than add curd to it cook the gravy well (you can add the left over marinade paste at this point)..
  14. Put the musallam in the gravy add fresh cream and mava pour the gravy on top of it and let it cook on low flame for 10 mins on each side with the lid on..
  15. Garnish with coriander + dry nuts..
