  1. Take 1 of white cabbage.
  2. You need A few of sprigs of fresh thyme.
  3. Make ready 1 tbsp of salted butter.
  4. You need 600 ml of stock, chicken or vegetable is fine.
  5. Prepare as needed of Olive oil.
  6. Prepare 200 g of bacon, smoked or unsmoked is fine to use.

Simply Braised Cabbage step by step

  1. Discard the outer cabbage leaves and then cut the cabbage in half and then finely slice the cabbage, alternatively you can use a cabbage grater. Discard the core of the cabbage..

  3. Once the stock is boiling add in the cabbage. Mix it well. Cover with lid and boil for 5 minutes..
