Ingredients of Foil Chicken
- Take 1 kg of chicken pieces, with bones.
- It’s 2 tbsp of thick curd.
- You need 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
- It’s 2 tsp of kashmiri red chilli powder.
- You need 2 tsp of tandoori masala.
- Prepare 1 tsp of zeera(cumin) powder.
- It’s 1/2 tsp of garam masala powder.
- Make ready 1/4 tsp of Black pepper powder.
- It’s 1 tsp of lemon juice.
- Take 1 tbsp of butter.
- It’s 1 tbsp of oil.
- You need 1 cup of tomato sauce.
- Take to taste of Salt.
- It’s as needed of Coal for dum.
- You need as needed of Foil sheets, to wrap the chicken.
Foil Chicken step by step
- Marinate the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, ginger garlic paste, curd, lemon juice, red chilli powder, tandoori masala, zeera powder, garam masala powder and butter for 1 hour. Heat oil in a vessel. Add the marinated chicken and cook till the chicken is tender and water dries up..
- Add the tomato sauce and mix well. Switch off flame.Light up the coal and place it on a piece of foil. Place this in the chicken vessel. Pour a bit of oil and cover with a lid.
