Ingredients of Stir Fried Schezwan Noodles with Desi Twist ;)

  1. You need 1 packet of Noodles Chinese style.
  2. Make ready 2 tablespoons of Vegetable Oil.
  3. It’s 2 tablespoons of Cooking Butter.
  4. It’s 2 teaspoons of Garlic Grated.
  5. Prepare 1 teaspoon of Ginger Grated.
  6. Prepare 1 cup of Onions Finely chopped.
  7. Take 2 Tablespoons of Schezwan Sauce.
  8. Prepare to taste of Salt.
  9. It’s 1 teaspoon of Black Pepper Ground.
  10. Take pinch of Sugar A.
  11. Take ½ cup of green onion Finely chopped.
  12. Take 1 teaspoon of Cumin powder.
  13. You need 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds.
  14. Make ready 1 cup of Shredded Vegetables (Optional).
  15. Take 1 teaspoon of Vinegar (Optional).

Stir Fried Schezwan Noodles with Desi Twist ;) instructions

  1. Take a large pot of water and bring it to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon of Salt, 1 tablespoon of Oil and mix. Then add the Noodles into the water..
  2. Let the Noodles cook for 5-7 minutes or until done. Do not overcook the noodles. Drain out the entire water and then spread it on a plate. Toss 1 tablespoon of butter on the noodles so that it will not be sticking to each other..
  3. Then heat 2 tablespoons of Oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a pan with high sides and then add cumin seeds, grated ginger and garlic. Add onions and (optional shredded vegetables) and stir well on high flame for about 1-2 minutes or until the onions are slightly translucent..
  4. Then add the schezwan sauce. Mix well and add seasons like sugar, salt, cumin powder and pepper and (optional vinegar). Add in the cooked (and slightly cooled) Noodles and toss them well for 2 more minutes. Taste and adjust for seasonings..
  5. Switch of the flame and garnish it with green onion and toss well. Serve hot :).
