Ingredients of Palak Paneer

  1. Take 500 gm of Palak (Spinach).
  2. Make ready 1 cup of green peas.
  3. Take 1 1/2 cup of Paneer (cottage cheese) cubes.
  4. It’s 1 of medium onion chopped.
  5. Take 1 tsp of refined oil.
  6. You need 1 tea spoon of red chili powder.
  7. Make ready 1/2 tea spoon of turmeric powder.
  8. Prepare 1 tea spoon of Maggi masala.
  9. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds.
  10. You need 1 cup of tomato puree.
  11. Take to taste of salt.

Palak Paneer instructions

  1. Boil the palak for 5 minutes and make a fine paste in blender or mixer..
  2. Heat the oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, when they crackle add chopped onions and cook till pink in color..
  3. Add all the spices and mix, add tomato puree and mix well and cook till the oil gets separated from the puree..
  4. Add the palak puree and green peas. Cook till the peas are soft, add paneer and cook for 3-4 minutes. Serve hot with chapatis or paranthas..
