Ingredients of Palak Paneer
- Take 500 gm of Palak (Spinach).
- Make ready 1 cup of green peas.
- Take 1 1/2 cup of Paneer (cottage cheese) cubes.
- It’s 1 of medium onion chopped.
- Take 1 tsp of refined oil.
- You need 1 tea spoon of red chili powder.
- Make ready 1/2 tea spoon of turmeric powder.
- Prepare 1 tea spoon of Maggi masala.
- Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds.
- You need 1 cup of tomato puree.
- Take to taste of salt.
Palak Paneer instructions
- Boil the palak for 5 minutes and make a fine paste in blender or mixer..
- Heat the oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, when they crackle add chopped onions and cook till pink in color..
- Add all the spices and mix, add tomato puree and mix well and cook till the oil gets separated from the puree..
- Add the palak puree and green peas. Cook till the peas are soft, add paneer and cook for 3-4 minutes. Serve hot with chapatis or paranthas..
