- Marinate the fish pieces with salt and haldi. Keep it aside for 10 min..
- Preparing mustard paste : in mixer we make a fine paste of red mustard seeds, Yellow mustard seed, Salt and 4 - 5 green chillies.
- Heat mustard oil in a Kadai till the oil changes its colour..
- Temper hot oil with kalonji and cook in medium flame till oil comes from the mixture..
- Pour mustard paste, haldi, green chillies and 1/2 cup coconut milk to the mixture and boil it in medium flame..
- Now add fish pieces slowly to the mixture and cook it on low flame for at least 10 min..
- Then add 1 tbsp of raw mustard oil over the gravy and bring it to boil..
- Hilda fish is ready to serve with steamed rice.
