Ingredients of Iron Rich Green Pau Bhaji
- You need 2 of Potatoes large.
- You need 1/2 cup of Green peas.
- Prepare 200 gms of Palak.
- Take 1/4 cup of Cauliflower.
- It’s 1/4 cup of Cabbage.
- Make ready 1 of Capsicum chopped.
- It’s 2 of Green raw tomatoes chopped.
- It’s 1/4 cup of Spring onion white portion chopped.
- Take 1/2 cup of Coriander.
- It’s 2 of Green chillies.
- Prepare 8-10 of Garlic.
- Make ready 1/2 inch of Ginger piece.
- It’s 1/4 cup of Green garlic leaves.
- It’s 1 tbsp of Red chilli powder.
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.
- You need 1 tbsp of Paw bhaji masala.
- Prepare to taste of Salt.
- You need 3 tbsp of Butter.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Lemon juice.
- Prepare As needed of Spring onions chopped for garnishing.
- Take As needed of Coriander finely chopped for Garnishing.
- You need 1 cube of Paneer for Garnishing.
- Take 1 tsp of Chilli flakes for Garnishing.
Iron Rich Green Pau Bhaji instructions
- In a pressure cooker add chopped potatoes, green peas, cauliflower chopped, cabbage choppeed. Add little salt and boil..
- In a pan boil water. Add rinsed spinach and cook for just a min. Take immediately out and rinse with cold tap water..
- In a blender add this spinach, coriander leaves, green garlic leaves, little salt and make a smooth paste. Save for later..
- Now in a jar take raw tomatoes, ginger, garlic, salt and make a paste..
- Take a pan. Heat 2 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp butter. Add chopped onions and capsicum. Saute well for 1 -2 mins..
- Now add tomato puree and saute untill oil separates. Add Red chilli powder, turmeric, pavbhaji masala and mix well. Add in palak puree and mix well. Mash all boiled veggies. Add in the pan. Mix well..
- Add lemon juice. Add salt to taste and boil for 2-3 minutes..
- Garnish with some spring onions, chopped coriander, chilli flakes, grated paneer and butter..
- Serve Hot with pav and salad..
