  2. You need 1 lb of sausage.
  3. You need 8 oz of cream cheese.
  4. You need 8 oz of monterey jack.cheese.
  5. You need 8 slice of bacon.

Bacon Wrapped Sausage & Cheese Stuffed Green Chiles instructions

  1. Roast green chiles (I like to turn them in a little bit of oil on stove top, some like to roast in the oven, either one will work) until the skin falls off..
  2. Remove from skillet and peel remaining skin keeping the shape intact. Cut a slit down the length of the cooked chile, be careful not to cut through the bottom, to create a pocket. Remove seeds and set aside..
  3. In separate skillet, brown sausage..
  4. In a bowl, combine cooked sausage and cream cheese..
  5. Stuff the prepared chiles with the sausage mixture..
  6. Wrap each stuffed chile with a slice of bacon..
  7. Place the bacon wrapped stuffed chiles into a heated skillet and cook, turning them periodically until the bacon is fully cooked..
  8. Top with shredded monterey jack cheese and serve..
